Introducing Linda Carter...

I "met" Linda a little bit ago when she contacted me about reviewing some of her favorite products from J.R. Watkins. (Of course I was on board with that.)



I was super excited when I clicked over to the Watkins website. I had no idea they had so many cool products available. (I thought Watkins only made extracts and spices.)

Anyway, it became evident that I didn't know enough about or do justice to such a great company with such great products. So I e-mailed Linda and asked her to put together some guest posts highlighting Watkins and telling us more about the products. Lucky for all of us, she agreed! A little bit about Linda in her own words....



Hi! My name is Linda Carter (not THAT Lynda Carter, although I do tell my
husband that's why I married him, so the world knows I'm Wonder Woman!). I found Lindsey's awesome blog through Marie at Make and Takes, another great blog.

We have slow dial-up here in snowy northwest Minnesota, so I've been tying up our phone lines exploring all the cool ideas and delicious recipes from both sites (and having fun making crafts and meals). But hey, with over four feet of snow in less than a month and another 8 inches this
past weekend, there aren't many other fun things to do right now!

I'm a mom with an almost 4 year old daughter (who stuffs toilet paper in her pants in case we run out) and almost 5 year old son (who claims his name is Aslan and has an imaginary friend named David while he goes about swinging a wooden sword and carrying a pouch with stones in it).

My husband works and manages our 100 acre family farm, which has been operational and supplying our local area with farm-fresh produce for over 50 years now -- we have a farm market in town that I manage; it's opened from mid-May to the end of October each year. I also volunteer with several things at church, so life is pretty busy, but very satisfying. (From Lindsey--Um, I'm a little jealous, what about you?)

Lindsey asked if I'd like to guest blog and tell you all about some products that I just love from Watkins -- and would love to have you all try, too.
